Following the trend of grab ‘n go-style markets and restaurants at hotels and resorts around the world, the Vacation Myrtle Beach company has added its successful Town Center concept to another of its oceanfront Grand Strand resorts. Beach Cove Resort recently opened its new Town Center that features a “grab ‘n go” grill, coffee bar, arcade and beach bar to welcome spring and summer visitors to one of the country’s most popular family vacation destinations.
Vacation Myrtle Beach, which manages 14 oceanfront resorts in the area, opened a Town Center at its Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark in 2014 to great fanfare and decided to bring the concept in late 2015 to Beach Cove, which is located in the North Myrtle Beach area.
The new brightly-colored Town Center with windows overlooking the ocean includes:
- Grab ‘n Go Grill and Coffee Bar – Grab N’ Go offers a selection of freshly-brewed coffee and lattes, juice, breakfast wraps, muffins, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, and more that are easy to purchase and take back to your room or enjoy at the oceanfront lounge.
- Winner’s Circle Arcade – Gamers will find hours of fun in this new oceanfront arcade. Filled with both classic and new games, guests simply load a game card to play any or all the games in the arcade. The points won during games are loaded back to the card for easy redemption at the Winner’s Circle for all sorts of prizes.
- Tipsy Turtle Beach Bar – Grab a frozen drink in this air-conditioned portion of the Town Center, while looking out on the ocean. The bright blue bar offers a variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic options for kids.
Beach Cove also features three heated outdoor pools, three oceanfront whirlpools, an outdoor kiddie pool, an indoor pool and whirlpool, a 350-foot lazy river and a sauna. Guest can also play racquetball or dine at Tradewinds Cafe or Breeze’s Beach Bar and Grill open seasonally. Guests of Beach Cove also enjoy an on-site laundry, free WiFi and free covered parking.
