I love having my nails painted – especially during the warmer months. I typically opt for bright and cheerful colors regardless of the time of year – but I tend to find myself leaving my nails with no polish on them. Or, if I do take the time to paint my nails – I often wait way too long before removing the chipping polish.
I am no fan of paying several bucks for a polish, taking the time to paint my nails and let them dry only to have them begin to chip by the next day.
I noticed the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri a few weeks ago and thought I would give it a try. It’s an absolute necessity that nail polish dry fast. I don’t have time to sit and wait, in fear that I’ll ruin the manicure I just completed. With kids, you don’t have much time to be unavailable while your fingernails are drying.
The Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen was PERFECT. It has a nice and thick formula – which helps it spread in a more controlled manner. There is nothing worse than an extremely runny nail polish!
I completed two coats – though I think one would have been enough. Within ten minutes, my nails were fairly dry. I did take care to not squish or touch my nails for the next half hour or so – to keep from causing any imprints. They were nearly completely dry by the end of that time though I’m sure I could have managed to nick or damage the polish if I had tried.
I’m also in love with the Peppy Le Fuschia color! It’s vibrant and fun – just in time for the beach. I’m saving the lighter pink for when my skin has been kissed just a little by the warm sun. I think the contrast will look amazing.

What Others Are Saying
“I have essie, crabtree and Evelyn, Milani, and even Sally’s other nail lines, like gel and x-treme wear. This is by far my favorite formula, brush, and price combo, ever.
The reason I hated painting my nails was because I never had the time, and I would always mess them up before they could dry. Then, a friend lent me a bottle of Insta Dry, in “rose run”, and I loved it so much I went searching for my own bottle of this line.”
